St Just RFC
On Sunday the 18th Feb over 80 Bolingey Barbarians attended the St Just RFC 50th anniversary celebration match. The Barbarians where honoured to be invited to take part in this milestone for the first and last rugby club in England. St Just has always been one of the most popular rugby clubs for visiting sides as shown by the attendance of so many playing and retired Barbarian’s. The true hospitality of the club was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The Barbarians were delighted that St Just kindly gave up the raffle and auction to our cause and helped raise a staggering £1726.61.
So once again the rugby family of Cornwall came together to enjoy the game we all love and raise money to help disadvantaged children across the county. Our thanks to all Barbarians for making the journey to St Just, to Mark Prowse Chairman of St Just RFC and to all players and supporters we wish you the very best in your next 50 years of Rugby.
