TRFC Round Robin

6th May 2018

The Bolingey Barbarians’ family met at Truro RFC for their Round Robin competition, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters, and what a party. The sun had been ordered, the drinks were on tap and the food was there for the asking.

Everything was in place at the final fixture of our domestic season and nothing was going to stop everyone from enjoying the day.

The Rugby took on the same party atmosphere, as always played in true Barbarian fashion with Camborne beating St Austell in the first match, 3 tries to one; second match Camborne 3 and Truro 1; the final match St Austell 6 and Truro 5. Camborne were awarded the trophy with 13 points but closely followed by St Austell with 11. Truro, who had their Annual Dinner Dance in the evening on their mind scored 07 points.

Special thanks go to Glynn, Trevor and Michael for officiating; Frank Webb and the bar staff at Truro RFC and Caroline who provided the splendid food.

Total raised on the day was £904.00.

Thank you to everyone who helped with a great end to another successful season for the Bolingey Barbarians. Raising funds for children’s charities in Cornwall.
